ACCA Courses
ACCA offers a wide range of courses. We offer the following at the GTCE:
Certified Accounting Technician (CAT).
This course prepares you for a career as an accounting technician and is an entry-level qualification for this career path. It is ideal if you wish to start a career in finance, gain recognition for the wealth of skills and experience you may already have, or want accelerated progression to the ACCA Qualification and more senior accountancy roles.
The course involves nine exams and requires you complete one year of practical experience, which can be gained before, during or after the exams.
ACCA Qualification.
This course will help you reach the highest levels in accounting and finance. An established route to professional status, it allows you to use the 'ACCA' letters after your name on successful completion. Employers worldwide will understand and respect your qualification.
This course involves a Professional Ethics module, plus 14 exams. You must also complete three years of relevant practical experience.
Students wishing to take their skills to the next level can then move onto either an BSc in Applied Accounting, or an MBA (both awarded by Oxford Brookes University).
Students whose mother tongue is not English will require IELTS Academic 5.5 or higher to proceed with their chosen course.
